One of our favorite hotels to check-in on our trips and travels, is Hilton’s DoubleTree. The important reasoning on our side is not just the comfort or hospitality or the pleasant experience of staying at a Double Tree. It’s the sweet feeling of joy and deliciousness we see on our kids faces biting into the warm yummy chocolate chip cookie they are welcomed with.

Our favorite DoubleTree has been the one near Galleria, in Houston. We have gone there so often that the doorman knows our names and excitedly comes to shake hands with the family. Every time the kids pop in to say Hi to the receptionist, they get warm cookies. It’s interesting that our kids get very excited when we go to Houston, not for the city which doesn’t appeal to them but the fact that they will stay at the DoubleTree for sure ;)…We have some sweet memories here.

Every time the dad traveled on work, the kids hoped he had stayed at a Hilton DoubleTree and will bring home their chocolate chip cookie. The obsession for the chocolate chip cookie was such that on one trip to Houston International Airport, when the flights got delayed, dad appeased the kid’s patience with a trip to DoubleTree for chocolate chip cookies. Mind you, we were not checking in that evening, just a friendly chat at the reception. Have to say Double Tree takes care of its customers sweetly 😉

Being a person with marketing and advertising background with an appreciation of good food, I love and applaud Hilton-DoubleTree’s strategy of engagement with their customers. This sweet service besides their comfort and hospitality, I bet has built their brand loyalty!

Each Doubletree chocolate chip cookie is approximately 2 full ounces of delicious-ness and is filled with an average of 20 yummy, melty chocolate chips! No wonder it’s a tasty bite!
