Mighty Fine Burgers – A Review

One evening impromptu we wanted to eat burgers and decided to try out a new burger place- Mighty Fine Burger instead of our favorite Burger place – Fuddruckers.  On a Friday evening this place was packed. The ambience of this place was similar to Rudy’s on a smaller scale.  It has picnic tables for dining, exposed kitchen, similar preorder format, and also the clean hands machine 😉

We ordered the ½ pound burgers for the adults and ¼ pound for the kids. The burgers were stacked with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. We also ordered extra jalapenos in the ½ pound burgers.  The Kids ordered chocolate shakes while we grabbed bottles of root beer with our order.

Unlike in Rudy’s,  here the space between the picnic tables  is less and  very close seating  was a cause for some discomfort.   While our order came, we peeked into the exposed industrial kitchen area which displayed men making patties from fresh ground all natural chuck. The kitchen also has equipment to make crinkle fries from potatoes for live demonstration for the seated audience.

Our burger order came in soon. Our 1/2 pound was a mighty big burger, stacked high with all the fixings. Our side order of crinkle fries was in good portion too. The taste now had multiple perspectives. I am very picky about flavor  and spice in my food bites, hence found the initial bites into my burger little bland. I added some Tabasco and sprinkled some Season Salt to make it to my liking. My husband on the other hand enjoyed the straight meaty taste.  The crinkle fries too had conflict of opinion. While the kids were happy with their fries and my husband found it less greasy, I didn’t find it very appealing. But since they were fresh cuts from potatoes, they may qualitatively be better than the pulp fry!  The seasoning salt on the table goes well with the fries too. Their homemade chocolate shakes were good and enjoyed by the kids.

It was a decent place but not Mighty Fine!
