Cho Sushi- A Restaurant Review

This cozy Japanese restaurant is a perfect place for lunch. Cho has remarkably a wide variety of fresh sushi, sashimi , kobe beef and fusion food  and more on its menu;  a vibrant ambience with  friendly  staff and service and close to home!

For lunch, we ordered a variety of sorts.  A  Bento box with Beef Teriyaki was elaborate and ornate with a house salad, 2 fried dumplings, 4 California rolls, rice and excellent beef teriyaki.  A 3 roll combo with spicy tuna roll, spicy yellow tail roll and eel rolls were great. And the Sashimi Eel Unagi was just perfect.  Everything from the beginning of the meal, a flavorful  Miso soup  to the  salad to the fresh fish and sushi were all scrumptious.  It was an excellent lunch experience and we walked out happy.

At lunch time, the restaurant at Steiner Ranch was practically full with every kind of patrons; families with kids, friends catching up over lunch, colleagues eating together, a few people at the sushi bar, a typical neighborhood restaurant, yet a popular one.   The restaurant in spite of being in the neighborhood has not only sustained unlike other restaurants here, but  has  been successful   and  even opened a branch  in the Lakeway neighborhood!
It’s a surprise, we didn’t check it out earlier, but we plan to go there again with our kids who enjoy sushi too.
