Las Vegas , the  entertainment capital of the world  is known for its  casinos, resorts, shopping and fine dining .   The city’s entertainment industry is mostly focused in the Las Vegas Strip and  Crystals at city center is  a new  addition to the strip adjacent to new casino and resorts  Aria and Vdara.

Wolfgang Puck Pizzeria and Cucina located on the top level of the Crystals, offers  lively atmosphere with a great view of the holiday decorated  Crystals, and  the perfect place to people watch 😉  The restaurant has a nice ambience and décor. Since we were a large group we were seated in the private balcony.  Our large table was made from one piece olive wood and quite a beautiful piece of furniture.  Incidentally the entrance has a wall with verses in Latin from Homers Odyssey describing the olive tree.

The service was very courteous and quick. We were served  scrumptious fresh bread before our starters arrived. We ordered family style to share and it worked perfecty at this place. For starters we ordered Calamari “Fritto” with Garlic Aioli, Lemon, Paprika and Tomato Bruschetta with Basil, Parmesan. For entrée’s we ordered couple of Margarita pizzas with Mozerella,Tomato sauce, Basil, Parmesan; and Chicken and Mushroom Pizza with Bechamel, Fontina Cheese, Thyme and Arugula and Eggplant Parmesan, Capellini Pasta with  Tomato, & Mozzarella.

While the Bruschetta was excellent with fresh herbs, the Calamari was nice and crunchy.  The thin crust gourmet  Margarita Pizzas  and the Chicken and Mushroom  pizza with the arugula  were  very delicious and equally enjoyed by adults and kids, and  lastly the Eggplant parmesan with capellini pasta was another good choice.

It was a perfect evening with good food, nice ambience, a toasty fireplace right next to us and great conversations between best friends.
