Grilled Peaches & Ice Cream
Ate this healthy and delicious dessert over the weekend made by our friends Melanie and Stephanie, and this is their recipe. Now I know what’s for dessert next spring when my tree fills up with peaches! There may be more peach stories next year. But the Peach season is still on, and peach enthusiasts can enjoy it this year too.

Ingredients
- 5 Fresh Peaches( semi- ripe) , Halved And Pitted
- Extra virgin Olive oil , For Brushing
- Kosher salt- sprinkle
- Ice cream/ Greek yogurt
- Honey (optional)
Instructions
- Cut each semi-ripe peach into half and pit the seed out. Brush the peach halves with extra virgin olive oil and sprinkle a little kosher salt on the open half’s. Set the grill for low heat, and place the peaches onto the grill. Cook for a few minutes and flip the other side to grill both sides. The peaches are done when they are soft, don’t wait till they are mushy.
- Serve them warm with cold vanilla Ice cream and a drizzle of honey. It’s a healthy decadent dessert combining the warm juicy fruit with cold ice cream. We used Blue Bell's Vanilla ice cream but you can use any other flavor or you can go totally healthy and skip ice cream, and enjoy grilled fruit and Greek yogurt.
