Ingredients
  • 5 dried figs
  • 2 c milk
  • 3 T sugar
  • bn slivered almonds
  • bn crushed walnuts
  • 2 T whipped cream (optional)
  • 2 t honey
Instructions
  1. Soak the dry figs overnight in 2 cups of milk. Remove the figs from the milk, next day and blend with sugar in a juicer or blender. Add the milk in which the figs had been soaked, and whip together. A few walnuts and almonds can be added while blending to get a nutty flavor to the drink. Pour into glasses, top it with whipped cream, garnish with slivered almonds and crushed walnuts. Drizzle it with honey for a delicious and delightful drink.
Notes
-Dried figs, walnuts and almonds eaten together, on an empty stomach in the morning is said to be very beneficial for health. -Dried figs, walnuts and wild rue together can apparently avert food poisoning!
